As for usage, if the knife is dull or damaged, start with Stage 1. For a slightly dull edge, go directly to Stage 2. When sharpening, insert the blade fully and perpendicularly into the appropriate sharpening slot at a 90° angle, and gently pull the knife blade with light pressure from heel to tip in the direction of the indicator arrows. Lift at the end of the pull to sharpen the tips of your blade. Avoid using excessive downward pressure, as it may cause the diamond wheel to stall.

This sharpener comes with a detachable AC to DC 12V power supply adapter, with an input of 100V~240V, 50~60Hz, and a maximum of 0.6A. The output is DC 12V, with a maximum of 2.0A, and a DC connector of 5.5mm x 2.1mm. The cable length is 47.2 inches (120cm), and the plug is a US plug Type A.
